Through its ShelterNet Program, Humanities Foundation provides emergency financial assistance for families and individuals who have suffered a crisis or setback and need immediate funding to enable them to stay in their homes.

Since 1992, Humanities Foundation has been a leader in addressing the affordable housing crisis throughout the Lowcountry. In addition to building quality affordable housing, the Foundation provides a wide range of services to alleviate problems associated with homelessness and affordable housing.

By developing over 600 rental units of affordable housing. The Foundation has provided homes for more than 850 low-to - moderate - income individuals, including those with special needs such as the working poor, the disabled, single mothers and senior citizens.
