what we do

Addressing the Housing Needs of Lower Income Citizens

Since 1992, Humanities Foundation has been a leader in addressing the affordable housing crisis throughout South Carolina. We also have several outreach programs in place to help prevent homelessness and thus provide a continuum of care in helping special income groups.

By providing pleasant, safe living environments, emergency financial relief and other educational opportunities and services, the Foundation works toward improving the quality of life for individuals and families of low-to-moderate income levels and to prevent homelessness.

Our goal is to continue to build community through affordable housing and expanding our outreach efforts to other areas of the state and throughout the Southern Region.

Seven Farms Apartments will set a wonderful example for the rest of our country in showing how affordable housing can be an integral part of any community.” Mayor, Joe Riley.
