What an unforgettable summer! Our Young Leaders explored, created, and connected through powerful experiences—from STEM experiments to an inspiring lineup of guest speakers. These leaders in business, wellness, education, public safety, and personal development brought unique perspectives and wisdom, helping shape our campers’ understanding of self-worth, resilience, and their potential. Adventure: Summer Field Trips!
This summer, our Young Leaders explored the best of the Lowcountry—from high-energy fun at Battle of the Camps to sunny days at Mt. Pleasant Waterfront Park and Northwoods Pool. They enjoyed movies, bowling, and hands-on career exploration at SCATC at Trident Tech, along with nature adventures in Charleston County Parks. Campers got a behind-the-scenes look at our local heroes! Special thanks to: North Charleston Fire Department Station #6 for bringing the fire truck and teaching fire safety. North Charleston Police Department, who shared what it means to protect and serve with kindness. Each trip helped build confidence, teamwork, and curiosity along the way.
