Donated Shopping Carts Brings Ease and Independence to Archer School Seniors

Thanks to the generous support of the Horizon Foundation, senior residents of Archer School Apartments now have a new tool to make daily life a little easier — collapsible shopping carts.

These handy carts are already making a big difference. Residents are using them to bring in groceries, take out the trash, and carry food from the onsite pantry. Lightweight and easy to fold, the carts are both practical and empowering, especially for those who might otherwise struggle with heavy loads or multiple trips.

This thoughtful donation supports our ongoing efforts to promote independence, safety, and dignity for our senior community. We are grateful to the Horizon Foundation for investing in the well-being of our residents and helping to meet everyday needs with compassion and care.
